Life in our house has been busy the last few weeks (hence, no new posts.) Band has pretty much kept us hopping. Kat is a drum major and Archie is a section leader. Between Band Boosters, getting things ready for trips and going to games and contests, I haven't had much time to update. But today, our band competed in the Regional Contest in Brady and received Division 1 ratings. Now they'll advance to Area. It's in Grosbeck (near Waco) next Saturday. We're so proud of them! Here's a couple of pics from the trip. Now I need to scrap them for my turn at the Scrap Whispers challenge.

ReplyDeleteSo proud -- I totally agree having been the parent of 2 band students - Katie was drum major her jr and sr years and Jason played Percussion -- we absolutely loved going to all their competitions! Kathleen's senior pics are absolutely beautiful -- how in the world are you going to be able to choose which ones to hand out??!!
